What would you do for a million dollars?

While the answer to that question will vary for everyone, let me tell you what Paula Dean did for some extra MILLIONS. For those of you who don’t watch ‘The Food Network’, she’s arguable their most popular personality. In fact, she is the one who invented the ‘Ladies Brunch Burger’, a bacon burger with a fried egg in between two donuts! Pretty sure that would affect not only insulin and glucose levels, but literally shorten your life before your eyes.
Well, I’m not sure what the motivating factor here was and there is much speculation about it, but Paula just came out and announced that she has Type II diabetes. Not a big surprise when the person chooses to drink sweet tea and eat the ‘comfort food’ above. (But I’m sure diet had nothing to do with it, probably a coincidence, right?) So where does the million $ come in? Here is the Associated Press release statement about Dean:
Celebrity chef and Food Network star Paula Deen is teaming with drug maker Novo Nordisk to launch a program that aims to help people live with Type 2 diabetes and promote a Novo diabetes drug. Deen has Type 2 diabetes and takes Victoza, a once-daily noninsulin injection. The website links to promotional materials for the drug. Type 2 is the most common form of diabetes. In Type 2 diabetes, the body either does not produce enough insulin or does not use it efficiently, allowing excess sugar, or glucose, to accumulate in the blood.

I hope you read that closely, let me paraphrase: ‘…help people live with Type 2 diabetes…’The insinuation there is YOU HAVE NO HOPE IF YOU HAVE DIABETES. Who out there would want to live with a disease and be a slave to an injectable medication their entire living existence – especially when you can actually REVERSE that same disease – without drugs?

It’s one more successful attempt of a drug company manipulating our people and getting rich off of them. Our world is STUCK in a medical model mindset of ‘I am a slave, there is no hope without drugs, I need the all-knowing doctor to survive and make it.’ This is the best we have to offer people for hope? Lifetime injections to ‘manage’ and ‘live with’ something that we know the cause of and know how to reverse? Pathetic. If she truly cared about people and her own health, she would have casted for ‘The Biggest Loser’ and inspired a nation into healthier cooking and lifestyle habits REVERSING HER CONDITION. But no way, let’s keep doing what we are doing and pop a pill or inject a med. Welcome to the 21st Century. (And I just threw up…) So the message Paula will be bringing (no matter what they print or shoot in a commercial) is this:

IT’S OKAY TO EAT BACON & EGG DONUT BURGERS
BECAUSE THERE’S A DRUG THAT WILL FIX YOU.

I have a different idea. It’s called the Maximized Living Nutrition Plans. And it’s not just for preventing and potentially reversing Diabetes, it’s for EVERYONE to stay amazingly healthy FOR LIFE. It’s for everyone looking to eat great, healthy, and TASTY foods and beverages, with ZERO guilt, and ZERO new disease or ‘extra-chins’. Want to learn more?   Of course you do…
